VOGS is splitted in 5 Work phases

Work phase 1: Research and analysis
Execution of a State of the Art - Analysis of educational guidance models and aptitude diagnostical test procedures with a vocational oriented background and a guidance background. Proceeding from the status quo, requirement criteria for a model for the deaf will be developed. Already existing models or procedures will be analysed and assessed according to these criteria.

Work phase 2: Adaptation and Development
Adaptation of aptitude diagnostical test procedures to the requirements of the target group. At the same time, development of an innovative educational and vocational guidance method (VOGS Method) for the guidance of the deaf, building on the results of the analysis phase.

Work phase 3: Curriculum development
Starting from the method and model development a curriculum for the training of active deaf and hearing educational and vocational counsellors should be developed in this phase in accordance to the new VOGS Model for the deaf in Europe

Work phase 4: Pilot project trainings
Realization of three pilot project trainings for hearing and deaf educational and vocational counsellors according to the VOGS Method in Europe. The practical realization of the educational and vocational guidance of the deaf in the process of the pilot project trainings.

Work phase 5: Finalization
Adding of the evaluation results to the VOGS Model, adaptation of individual components, production of the model case.
